Set your build volume (under Preferences/Configure Cura/Printers, select your printer in the list, then Machine Settings, Printer tab) to X=200mm, Y=200mm, Z=180mm. Under the Extruder tab, verify that Cura has material dimeter as 1.75mm. You can also rename your printer to 'Monoprice Select Plus' here if you want to. The slicer software was a customized version of Cura by Ultimaker. An updated version of Cura can be downloaded from the Ultimaker site. If you go on the net, you can find detailed instructions as to how to set it up for the Maker Select. It is a little complicated and I had to use COM5 to communicated with the printer over USB. After you download, install, and open it up for the first time Cura will ask you what printer you are using. Since the maker select is not listed just choose Prusa i3 which is the printer that the maker select is based on. The nozzle width, bed and extruder temperatures, print speed, etc are all the same. The only difference is the work area.
We’ve tried to gather all of the documentation that Wanhao has included with the printer. Search quick know. If there’s a document, or a revision of a document that we’re missing, please let us know.
